The Mauk Family Reunion is an unincorporated nonprofit association formed before 1912 with bylaws dating back to 1941. Since our gross revenue is less than $5,000 per year we can operate as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit without applying for IRS recognition though this means we have nothing from the IRS stating contributions to the Mauk Family Reunion are tax deductible.
